WHAT'S NEW?

November 2022

  • We are looking for volunteers to help support our outreach!  Drop us a line (scroll down for form) if you're interested in helping create content for our social media or participate on our Q&A panels throughout the year. We'd love to have current professionals & student involvement! We will be choosing new leaders and team support to begin in January 2023.

  • Our student resources page is almost complete.  Check out our newest addition--the cover letter!

  • Our next monthly meeting will be Monday, December 19th, 12-1pm CT. 

October 2022

  • The recording for our annual webinar, "A Guide to Being an Effective Reviewer!" presented October 17, 2022, 12-1pm CST is now available!  Hear from Petra Boynton, PhD as she shares tips for new & experienced reviewers and discusses how to set and maintain boundaries as a reviewer.

  • We will not hold a monthly meeting in October.  Our next monthly meeting will be November 14th. 

September 2022

  • Registration is open for our annual webinar, "A Guide to Being an Effective Reviewer!" Join us October 17, 2022, 12-1pm CST as we hear from Petra Boynton, PhD on the many ways you might want to review, identify key skills for new and experienced reviewers, and identify how to set and maintain boundaries so your wellbeing as a reviewer is protected.   • Our student resources are live! Check out tips for crafting the perfect resume and cover letter, what to feature in your interview, and how to gain more experience in undergrad or grad school. Want to see something else? Let us know!

PROMOTE CAREERS IN RESEARCH AUDIOLOGY

We compile & share job postings for research audiologists from organizations all over the world in our newsletters and on social media. We also share our own career experiences in Q & A sessions and advocate for research audiology representation within professional organizations.

PROVIDE CONTINUING EDUCATION TO RESEARCH AUDIOLOGISTS

Research audiologists do a lot of on-the-job training! We continually share helpful podcasts & resources in our newsletters and also host a webinar to develop our research audiology skills.
